My background with Intuition and Reiki-
I liked to help people. “Do you need help with that?” “May I help you?” “I can help you if you’d like." I like to help make others’ lives easier by lending a hand, a voice, or an ear. Someone else’s success, knowing I helped, made me happy.
I am a Reiki Master and Teacher. I have learned how to “help” myself achieve my own goal to help others by drawing from the Universal Life Force Energy, which is all around us and within us. Everything you see, touch, hear, smell, and even cannot see, are made from energy. The difference between whether we can see it or cannot is the rate at which it vibrates. For example, this computer vibrates at a lower rate than our spiritual guides; therefore, we can see the computer. You do not need to see to believe. An example, you talk on your cell phone, but you do not see the words coming through the air and into the phone. Reiki is not connected to a religion. You do not have to believe in a religion for Reiki to work. You may feel Reiki working, or you may not feel it. Just because you do not feel it, though, doesn’t mean it is not working. Reiki energy is a calm, peaceful energy. When the body is calm and at peace, it may begin to heal. How much healing will happen? It really depends upon each individual and the individual’s path in life. My personal belief is in God, Jesus, Angels, Guardian Angels, Spiritual Guides, and Divine Beings. I believe in peace. I have always been highly intuitive. Reiki and meditation have helped increase the strength of my intuition. Signs of miracles began happening to me early in life. When I was two years old, I reached to turn on the light in the bedroom. There was a full mirror standing right next to the light switch, waiting to be installed on the wall. As I reached up, the mirror fell, right on top of me. There was glass all around me on the floor. I only had a small cut on my thumb. "Your Guardian Angel was with you, watching over and protecting you", my Mother told me. Even as a young girl and in my early teens, I heard in my head, what people around me were going to say before they said it. I received strong senses about people when I encountered them. I had very strong intuitions. |
There have been numerous times the Divine has intervened in my life. I was very sick from 1996-1999. My medical doctor couldn’t figure out what was wrong, until I became so sick, I didn’t’ believe I could live any longer. It took getting to that point to discover I had a tumor on my pancreas. There are only (2) kinds of tumors on the pancreas. 1) Pancreatic Cancer or 2) Insulinoma. The surgeon would know for sure once he took out 1/5 of my pancreas to remove the tumor, then took a biopsy of the tumor, which would take a week before I would know which type of tumor it was. The night before my surgery to remove the tumor, while stroking my 9-year old daughter’s face as she fell asleep, I prayed to God, whatever path you choose for me, I accept. Only you know my heart’s desire. While still in the hospital, a week later, I was diagnosed with Insulinoma. A tumor on the pancreas that produces more and more insulin as it grows. One in a million people in the universe will get this particular type of tumor in a lifetime. How lucky was I? I knew there was a lot more I needed to achieve in life. Do you find, for example, when you hurt yourself, your first instinct is to place your hand on it? Why? Since I was a very young, besides using this technique on myself or people, I, also, used it on my pets. I was not attuned to Reiki, but I believed that by placing my hands on an injured or anxious pet or person, somehow it helped. I didn’t analyze it; I just did it not knowing why. We had a contractor at our house to reface our cabinets. As we tried to have a discussion regarding the cabinets, our parakeets decided to join in on the conversation making it difficult for us to hear each other. I held my hand up to the cage and silently sent Reiki to them. They were calm at once. Not a single peep! I looked over at the contractor to continue our conversation, and he was standing there with his jaw dropped open. In awe he said to me, "You're the bird whisperer!" When I discovered Reiki, the “why” was answered. Now “it” had a name, “it” had a history, “it” was opened and strengthened through the attunement process to help others. All I ever wished for was happiness. In peace, we get happiness. Reiki brings peace. I have my beliefs, my intuition, and now Reiki, to make my wish come true. I can fulfill my desire to help others through Reiki treatments, and to expand Reiki in the world by teaching Reiki to those who seek the peaceful and calming healing energy.
